#UltimateQuaranTeam gets a brand refresh

We’re coming to the end of our first week in UK Lockdown but we’ve been socially distancing and isolating ourselves for 2 weeks now.

With the weekend fast approaching and no football to watch we’ve been following all the FIFA 20 #UltimateQuaranTeam Tournament action. Created by the genius media team over at Leyton Orient, they decided to send an open invitation to professional football clubs across the globe to join them to battle it out over FIFA 20 whilst raising money to help smaller clubs cope with the financial strain of having no match day football.

It’s caught the imagination of football fans and clubs worldwide with 128 signing up to compete and over 5k fans tuning in to watch Roma vs Walsall on Monday evening. Walsall knocked Roma out with a 2-1 victory to claim a spot in the round of 64.

After witnessing some truly epic games, and as we started to crawl up the walls in our isolation, we decided the tournament needed a brand refresh to elevate the tournament and drive online donations.

We’ve put our branding and design skills to the test to create a complete brand system from logo to typefaces, colour palette and Twitter post graphics in just two days.
