We had an epic team day trip down to Brighton for our summer social. We wandered the lanes, chilled on the beach, and checked out the awesome new Brighton Beach House.

Ten Questions

10 questions with Harry Wright, LoveGunn’s newest Designer:

1. How did you get into design?

After a background in Marketing and Art, I decided to do a bit of a career shift – and put myself into a Design Course at Shillington College after arriving in London last year. Loved it and here I am!

2. Your dream client?

Designing album cover art for a record label company would be a pretty challenging but fascinating Job. Being able to visualise and execute the art to speak for music is something that has always been intriguing to me.

3. Fun fact about yourself?

In my last year at secondary school, I helped to choreograph a dance that won a national school competition.

4. If you had to eat one food for the rest of your life what would it be?

Always Pasta.

5. What’s your guilty pleasure?

Can comfortably sit down and watch a full day of test match cricket… or average reality TV!

6. Perfect house in a bad location or an awful house in a perfect one?

A bad house in a perfect one, and preferably by the sea.

7. Book recommendation?

No.1 Read more! No.2 – I really enjoy a good page-turner; Robert Galbraith (AKA J.K. Rowling) Cormoran Strike series was one I’ve enjoyed recently – with about 6 books in the series, each is filled with numerous unexpected twists, I literally couldn’t put them down…. Get to Waterstones or download one of them on your Kindle – they will not disappoint. Also, once you’ve read the first book in the series, The Cuckoo’s Calling series, you can watch the gripping TV series on Iplayer!

8. Series recommendation?

True Detective Season 1. It’s brilliantly acted, has a wicked narrative, and with every episode directed by Cary Fukunaga – the continuity of this series makes it such an immersive watch. Or my current favourite – Succession. the perfect balance between comedy, drama and absolute family madness.

9. Podcast recommendation?

Serial Season 1 – A confronting but enthralling True Crime mystery.

10. Event recommendation?

It’s hard to beat live music, so any gig – or the odd music festival. Glastonbury is next on the wish list – I’ve never been but only heard it’s the time of your life. Fingers are crossed for the next ticket ballot!
