Merry Christmas and HNY from all of us here at LoveGunn.
It’s been a massive year for us (we celebrated by going to Winter Wonderland and Skiing!) and we couldn’t have done it without the collaboration and support of our brilliant clients.
We can’t wait to share what’s in store for 2022!
Team LG X
Christmas came early: We are delighted we’ve been shortlisted for THREE Transform Awards – we’re looking forward to the ceremony next year!
Each year we donate on behalf of our clients, partners and friends to a charity that’s close to our hearts. This year we’ve chosen to support Refugee Action, who are working tirelessly to improve the lives of refugees and asylum seekers across the UK.
By providing basic support, training, employment opportunities and housing, Refugee Action plays a vital role in helping refugees build safe, happy and productive lives. They’ve already helped over 3,000 people in the asylum process, and are fighting to change the system for good.
Our top tips
Chris (Managing Director & Co-Founder @ LoveGunn) is the latest team member to share their top tips to get you through the Christmas break.
TV Series: The Sopranos
So my wife and I decided at the start of this Covid malarkey to work our way through the top-ranked series of all time. So far we’ve binged The Sopranos, The Wire, Breaking Bad and now we’re on to Mad Men. We’re loving it so far (the resemblance between Don Draper and LoveGunn’s very own @Tom Love is uncanny). My top tip from the list so far has to be The Sopranos – a cult classic for a reason. If you haven’t already, put it on your list!
Book: Shoe Dog by Phil Knight
I must admit I’m not a big reader, but whilst away on holiday recently I made my way through Shoe Dog (the memoir from Phil Knight, the creator of Nike). I absolutely loved it and was totally inspired throughout – an epic journey told by a guy who is so passionate about what he does and is clearly still grounded despite owning a company worth billions.
Event: Winchester Christmas Markets
As the LoveGunn team and all my friends/family will tell you, I LOVE Christmas. Christmas songs are on in the studio from late November and I’m unashamedly over-excited from the off. I also moved out of London last year so my top festive tip, a stone’s throw from the big smoke, is the Winchester Christmas Market. If you haven’t been to Winchester it’s a must-visit – such a beautiful city (FUN FACT: it used to be the capital of England) and the Christmas Markets, wrapped around the Cathedral, are loads of fun.
